Job Description:

Our client in High Point is hiring for a full time Regional Housing Manager. The purpose of this role is to manage the operations of the Public Housing/Section 8 programs. The position oversees functions, monitors fiscal and occupancy status of properties and HCV program, prepares reports of activities and fiscal status. 24/7 on-call duty is required. This role completes:

• Budget preparation and monitoring
• Monitors operating practices and procedures and recommends changes to promote efficiency
• May participate in pre-employment interviews, supervise, evaluate performance, and train staff
• All activities must support the Agency's strategic goals and objectives and produce results that accomplish the goals and functions of the Public Housing Manager/ Section 8 programs. Requirements:
  • Five (5) years of experience in property management and capital funds management
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and regulations
  • Supervisory experience
  • Certified training in HCVP Executive Management, HCVP Housing Quality Standards ("HQS") training and Property Management Certification obtained within first year of employment.
  • Possession of a North Carolina valid driver's license and the ability to be insurable under the Agency's automobile insurance plan at the standard rate.
