Title: Fabrication Expediter
Location: Lynchburg, VA
Shift: 1st Shift - M-F. Voluntary Weekends (Avg 49-50 hours a week)
Compensation: $17-$20/hr (Entry Level Role)

Position Description:
The Fabrication Expediter is responsible for ensuring production needs are met by overseeing the flow of materials, components, tooling and paperwork among departments as directed by the fabrication supervisor. This role is essential for managing production schedules, addressing urgent orders, and maintaining quality and efficiency throughout the fabrication process. They are responsible for coordinating production, managing materials, monitoring the schedules, communicating between departments, and using ERP systems to improve efficiency.

Requirements:
A candidate for this role should be willing to learn and is a self-starter with the ability to understand and carry out both written and oral instructions. They should have strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. They should also have impeccable attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Must be able to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
