He practiced general dentistry in the Birmingham area for three years before his Internship at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.Dr. Scroggins moved to the Roanoke area in 2014 and has come to really enjoy the mountains and beautiful scenery in the area. He met his wife, Verina, while at BYU, and they have eight children. They currently live outside Daleville in Botetourt County. When not keeping up with his children, he is involved with church activities and has helped organize church service trips to clean up damage in states affected by hurricanes and tornadoes. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, fishing, disc golf, skiing, and college football.
