CT Technician Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CT Technician to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center, where you will operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis.

About the Job
As a CT Technician, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating CT scan equipment, and interpreting physician scanning instructions. You will also assist radiologists with administering medication and contrast agents, and perform biopsies and other procedures as needed.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis
  
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture optimal images
  
• Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed
  
• Assist radiologists with administering medication and contrast agents, and perform biopsies and other procedures as needed
  
• Monitor inventory of supplies and maintain examination room cleanliness
  
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
    
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date
    
  • ARRT-CT certification preferred
    
  • CT experience preferred
