Description:Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! Full-time position is available with complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with match, and more.Heavy cleaning of all equipment sanitation of the floor and production assistance with stock on delivery days Washes all wares including but not limited to: pots, pans, flatware, and glasses either by hand or using commercial dishwashers.Correctly places and stores all dishes and utensils in assigned storage areas.Stocks serving stations, cabinets, refrigerators, server, and kitchens with necessary dishes and utensils.Responsible for taking the trash to appropriate receptacles for disposal.Detailed heavy cleaning and sanitation of all work areas.Receiving and storage of raw and prepared food products.Unload and stock new deliveries to ensure product availability.Clean and sanitize equipment based on cleaning and routine maintenance schedules and use only approved chemicals and tools.All equipment assigned, follow cleaning program protocols.Ensure PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is worn when using chemicals or deep cleaning equipment.Maintain and rotate products to ensure dates have not expired and products are used timely.Perform routine food service tasks, under direct supervision of Supervisors and Managers.Follow instructions and complete all assigned assignments.Assist team members with their job functions as needed.Display cheerful, helpful, and professional appearance.Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and a positive, calm environment.Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Executive Chef and/or Operations ManagerRequirements:High School DiplomaPast experience in heavy cleaning of Kitchen Equipment is preferredAbility to follow directions, read SDS Sheets, and Understand PPE EquipmentWestminster Canterbury of Lynchburg is committed to best practices for infection control; therefore, we will require all team members to receive the influenza and COVID-19 vaccines.PI95e2e92e9a93-25660-35521118
