Job Title: Registered Nurse - Resource Pool Job Specialty: ICU/PCU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Candidates with 2 years of large hospital experience are preferred. License: Active license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Candidates must be comfortable working in all ICU and PCU units. Job Description: - Resource Pool RN for ICU/PCU units - Work schedule of 3x12 hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. - Staffing office reviews the needs of the whole hospital every 4 hours, which could require floating to another unit every 4 hours if needed. - Patient Ratios: ICU 2:1, PCU 5:1 - All requests for time off must be submitted upfront. - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required, with only medical or religious exemptions accepted. - Travelers are required to work at least one holiday per season, with two winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's). - Candidates residing within a certain radius are considered local and are not accepted. - Previous employees must have a minimum one-year gap before returning to work in a traveling capacity. - Completion of modules within the first 24 hours of onboarding is required, with 5.5 hours allocated for orientation modules and 2 hours for system training. - Modules may be completed pre-start or during orientation, with payment based on completion.
