Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Neuro Job Duration: 9-week contract Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years required; Neuro PCU experience required. Previous Charge RN experience preferred. License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Must-Have: Experience with CVA, External CPAP/BiPAP, TR band, Yale Swallowing screen Job Description: - Work a 9-week contract with night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - Float between units as needed - Handle responsibilities within a 30-bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care department - Engage in centralized cardiac monitoring and surveillance - Participate in a self-assisted schedule for 6-week periods using scheduling software - Comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements, with only medical or religious exemptions accepted - Complete non-billable modules during orientation and unit-specific tasks - Familiarity with EPIC is preferred, as travel nurses may be required to float to other campuses within the same health system This position welcomes first-time travelers and requires compliance with travel guidelines.
