Tell us about the unit(s):
-- Number of Beds - 15 beds
-- Number of Staff - 22 (RN/PCT)
-- Type of staff:
o Day Shift - 3-4RN, 2 PCT, 1 Clinical Coordinator
o Night Shift - 3-4 RN 1 PCT
-- Patient Ratios - 4-5/1
-- Type of equipment - Cardiac Telemetry, Chest tubes, Cardiac
drips(NTG, Cardizem, Amiodarone), Post Cath Patients, post-surgical
patients to include open heart, lung patients, general surgery
patients, post op orthopedic patients that require cardiac
monitoring.
-- EMR - Meditech
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered
for the role.
-- PCU experience
-- Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patients
-- Chest tube management, epidurals
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
-- Post cardiac cath, EP studies, device placements, groin
management, chest tubes , post op surgical patients
-- Critical drips, epidurals, PCA
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
-- BLS & ACLS

-- ICU taking PCU type patients, PCU, Med-surg (taking 5
