Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Requires 2 years experience in a large hospital setting License: Active license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Candidates must be comfortable working in all ICU and PCU units. - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required, with medical/religious exemptions accepted. - Candidates considered local reside within 100 miles of the facility. Local candidates are not accepted. - Travelers are required to work at least one holiday per season (two winter holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year---s). - Return travelers must have been away for a minimum of one year before returning to work as a traveler. Job Description: - Resource Pool RN (ICU/PCU) - Night shift 3x12-hour rotations - Orientation is 24 hours - Staffing office reviews the needs of the full hospital every 4 hours, so resource pool nurses could be pulled/floated to another unit every 4 hours if needed. - Patient Ratios: ICU 2:1; PCU 5:1 - All requests for time off must be submitted upfront with application. - Compliance documents are due the Wednesday before the Monday start. - Candidates must complete modules within the first 24 hours, with 5.5 hours allowed for orientation modules and 2 hours for Epic training for inpatient RNs. - Modules can be completed pre-start or during orientation, with hours varying by specialty.
