Job Description:

We are hiring for a Business Unit Controller! This role is responsible for providing comprehensive financial and administrative support to a specific business unit within the company. The individual will oversee monthly financial reporting in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, and conduct various financial analyses.

Essential Functions:
- Provide local financial leadership in integrating recently acquired businesses into financial reporting processes and requirements.
- Ensure timely execution of the monthly financial close process in accordance with US GAAP and internal policies.
- Conduct business planning activities, including the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Partner with Commercial, Operational, and Functional leads to provide relevant financial analysis and insights to drive improvements.
- Improve job costing and variance analysis to identify areas of profit leakage and opportunities for enhancement.
- Manage the Business Unit's capital expenditure plan and prepare business cases for individual capital expenditures.
- Foster a continuous improvement mindset and collaborate with other sites to enhance back-office productivity across Platforms and the company.
- Responsible for talent management and employee lifecycle activities, from hiring to termination.
- Promote a collaborative environment, emphasizing internal teamwork to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
Master's degree and/or CPA designation is a plus.

Experience:
8+ years of progressive financial experience.
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with financial consolidation systems (e.g., OneStream, Hyperion, Longview, Prophix) is preferred.
Familiarity with various integrated ERP systems; knowledge of XA by Infor Accounting and Business Management Software is a plus.
